Research Opportunities

The Program in Health Disparities Research is committed to working with our neighbors and communities to reduce and ultimately eliminate health disparities. Only with your help can we achieve this purpose. On this page we list our current research initiatives for which we are seeking participation.

Diabetes, Poor Leg Circulation, and Walking Study
Persons with diabetes and leg symptoms secondary to poor circulation are getting involved in our study to assess the role of walking to improve limb function. We will determine if you have poor blood flow and talk with you by phone. You will be asked to complete a screening examination. Your involvement in the study will last for 6 months.

PI- Tracie C. Collins, MD, MPH
